I'd say a more realistic question is will it go up or down in the next 36 - 72 weeks!! ?

Disasters will no doubt trickle down into the cost of living and possibly impact the financial sytem directly. In theory the value of metals should rise but the social cost and impacts felt on infrustructure will be greater.

USGS reported the earthquake in Chile as 7.4 mag and MSM reported no significant damage. The video is interesting and reported it as an 8.8 mag quake with significant damage reports being made. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35618451/

It is probably worse than we have been lead to believe. No different to the state of the financial system.

You talk plenty of sense. Llike the Fukushima disaster. Major downplay.
I do not believe that after today we are out of the woods as far as a large scale disasterous event goes.
Next few weeks may still reveal a page of history. Today was nice to clear.
    Now we wait.....
In the meantime, sale prices on precious go on :)

If it doesn't go up - then 100% it will go down. But then again it might just stay the same. My crystal ball is fuzzy again, I think I need to get a better antenna . What do you think???

Two more quakes today. Big one in Indonesia and a smaller one in Mexico City. Have not heard the extent of the damages or injuries. The markets had little or no reaction.
