Been getting some near spot prices on Lydian Lion, Pirate series, 'don't step on me' snake and a caterpillar/butterfly 1oz coins.

I know the Lydian Lion is from the Lydian mint but can't seem to find out much about the other types (More likely to find Jack Sparrow's whereabouts than helpful info when typing Pirate silver bullion in google).

Any info about where they're minted and why they don't seem to pop up much outside of ebay would be greatly appreciated.

    Got any pictures?

The Lydian lion started in 2009 in Silver & Gold, I think they're (Lydian Mint) still making them now.

    No mintage information available though.

The Lydian mint is in the USA I believe Nice coins to be getting at near spot the lions themselves usually command a small premium not sure about the one you have been getting they aren't listed on the mints website I would make sure the seller is reliable

The Caterpillar and Skull silver are both just low mintage bullion from some americas mint.. called rounds as they are not legal tender.. proberbly get like $2-#5 over spot depending on interest of buyer.

Pirates.. are they the coloured NZ mint ones? or the uber perth mint ones.. both are a great deal near spot.. id need pics to confirm

That's the pirate one on offer. Was just a little worried as the coins don't reference any particular mint.

After some long negotiations it looks like I'll be getting a
US Eagle, Lydian Lion, Buffalo and Pirate Coin at $35 per coin+ postage.

Pretty happy with that, thanks guys for your feedback!

Cool, yeah these are nice at $35.. much better than the standard buffalow or scottsdale youd get at the same price.. i also prefer these to maples & eagles... might want to consider koalas or kooks at around $36 - $38 also

    Cheers.

Currently looking at some 2009 kookaburras and 2009 koalas (1oz), how far above spot is reasonable for them?

I have both.. i wouldnt sell for less than $48 each but sometimes you get deals.. lately the 2009 kook ive seen at around $45 but the 2009 koalas are harder to come by so were more like $50 .. prices have gone backwards latley on SS for older date kooks etc

Cheers for that, trying to spread my stack across lots of different rounds, gets pricey when not buying in bulk though.

Was trying to negitiate a price for a few of the koala's and kookaburras with an ebay seller who wouldn't go lower than the auctioning prices, which was fair enough, she finished by saying 'happy bidding'

I then proceeded to put in bulk bids across 13 of her coins and was currently leading on 8 of them. I've since been banned from bidding on her items.

    Very strange.

Theres two other skull pirate coins, one is a skull with a palm tree on a beach and a setting sun the other is a skull with crosses muskets. So the compass, solo palm tree and the other two make a four coin set, from what i've been told.
