We can't have a financial collapse and a fall of civilisation with everyone feeling cheery :/

It is ridiculous fishy, and a sure sign of a ponzi scheme in action
I think Gerald Celente talked about the cost of those in society that really do not add value and how it is unsustainable

Which is also why so many fixed wage essential service workers are disappearing from the scene as well and why people are heading more and more into 'money' careers.

The Ponzi has far reaching implications and social impacts that extend WELL beyond the initial economic climate and have long reaching affects that are hard to measure.

Every kid wants to be a 'property investor retired at 40 magnate' because they've been taught that if they waste their life being a teacher, copper, nurse, ambo or garbo they'll never afford (nor deserve) affordable shelter.

My dear I for one love physical labor. Problem is, for wages that are offered physical labor is not profitable and if currently im 25, and retirement age is nearly 70 now, i dont see myself flying around doing physical "stuff" at the age of late 60. In 50 - 70 factory workers wages were on similar level as those in "financial" sector. Now ..... guys and gals, clicking on pc and doing literally NOTHING are getting paid 2x - 3x more than those that really are productive.

Let me quote what I found few years back on the net:

I know that it does sound like some kind of socialist manifesto, or something very similar, but its hard not to agree with above.

    ^^^^
This is why I left a career I worked on for 10 years and started a trade. I now have great job security till retirement. Plus it's in a field which is almost recession proof. Kids don't take up or stick with trades like they used to.

If you put a solid 40 hour week into finding work, you'll find yourself a job.

I was unemployed for approx one month upon returning overseas. It was a full day of work with doing resumes/cover letters, interview prep, getting the right wardrobe, and doing research into the company. 8 interviews later I had a job.
