Interesting to know I'm not the only one. Amazed at what I'm learning as a new member. Problems with Swiss = Cheese! Problems with CAN =Maple Syrup!
It is not a problem or flaw. Just because an article contains Copper does not stipulate loss or damaged goods. It is far too costly to literally join silver atoms together in order to avoid contamination. Therefore, whether it be .999 or even .99999 there will still be impurities, be thankful the common impurity is Copper and not cheese. Approach the imperfection as you would with a Diamond, consider it one of numerous ways to help determine authenticity. It would be suspicious if there were a 'Green' impurity or nothing otherwise, as an example. .
I wonder what would happen if you reported this to the manufacturer by asking if it's genuine and by listing the number. They might do you a nice favour, even though I'm pretty sure you know it's genuine, it couldn't hurt.
