The Canadian Mint is selling their new 2012 $20 Pure Silver Polar Bear Commemorative Coin. Limit 3 with a 250,000 mintage. http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/20-pure-silver-commemorative-coin-polar-bear-2012-prod1230021
Limit of 3 per customer, kind of hard to do a group buy. This is the third coin in the series, I bought an extra 3 last time and sent them to 3 guys on SS at cost. I'll offer them to those guys again, if they don't want them then someone else can have them.
I got the first year's but haven't been able to get hold of last year's. I wouldn't mind getting hold of this one but if I can't I think I will give up on the series. They worked out too expensive with postage from the mint. I have a spare first issue if anyone wants to swap for a later model. Any idea what is on the other side of the coin, I am guessing a Polar Bear Butt but I may be mistaken
You do realise everytime you post a picture of Her Majesty I am required to stand up and sing the national anthem or forfeit my UK passport? I keep waking up the other people in the office.
It's only for States & Canada. You can get a free shipping if you use promotional code: Toronto30 The only problem i have with those coins (maple, canoe, bear) is that they are flooded on Fee bay. Way to many for sale now.
What kind of prices are they going for? They only have about $7 of silver in them, at $20 they are an absolute bargain but much higher than that, I am not sure I would be tempted (though we all know I am) I signed up with the Royal Canadian Mint but the postage was ridiculous so I knocked it on the head
Got the first batch of these coins, they're already on their way to Australia, hopefully you guys keep them cool
nice looking coin. milk spots like the rest though? or are they above bullion grade? Still can't work out why they let their beautiful coins be spoiled by milk spots. Terrible marketing team if you ask me.
