Iran war would likely result in the death or displacement of hundreds of thousands if not millions of Persians.

Surely the SS's community has a slightly higher sense of conscious then to discuss the merits of silver investment because its used to in weaponry.

I know I sound like a peace loving hippee but war is a pretty 5hit-house strategy to increase wealth. Anyway any potential gains would most likely be rapidly quashed due to increased cost of access to oil.

I hate to say it Mr G but the yanks have been doing just that for the last 40-50 years.....................biggest industry is weapons manufacturing, want to make a shitload of money, then just keep stoking the war embers
where ever they may be...........PM fluctuation and the creation of wealth from this is just a side effect.

Also the rebuilding of a nation you just bombed the crap out of and offering infrastructure contracts to your big companies back home and then re-train whats left of that nations
army and then get them to sign arms contracts to supply and maintain for a the next 50 years is pretty good way of doing it (making a crapload of $$$$) e.g Weapons manufacturing.

    Just my thoughts :)

If Iran is attacked by the US and Israel, then no doubt the US will have to devalue their currency just 'to be in the war'. Which in itself will destroy all western nations due to our globalisation BS. Which in turn will raise PM prices.

However no doubt millions, probably 10's of millions around the world will die due to a war with Iran.

WW1 and 2 werent called that until years after the wars were ended.

On who? Washington, London or Rome? Actually the bible refers to Rome burning in the last days. Sorry for the derail.

Alex Jones says it good IMHO, he portrays the scenario as, if a limited thermonuclear strike happens in lets say Iran or somewhere in the Mid East, then the Elite's/Globalists can set off a nuke in the USA and blame it on Iran or Al-Qaeda etc. cause they were nuked first, that will make the population rally around their corrupt leader in no matter what country be it USA,Israel,Iran etc., then Nukes can start to go off anywhere in the world by anybody and be blamed on anything, and then it becomes a anybody's game and who has the most nuke's. So Nuclear warfare is a very scary situation cause there are crazy people who control the nukes.

Do not rule out a high altitude detonation of a thermonuclear device on a ballistic missile producing an EMP using a severe solar generated geomagnetic storm as their cover

The result would effectively wipe out telecommunications and devastate the technological and financial system and it would be sold as a major natural disaster that destroyed the economies of the world ....

How's that for "dangerous" climate change .....

You can never please all the people all of the time anyway. Some people say, why didnt western countries help the Jews in WW2? Or stop the genocide in Cambodia? Or the genocide in Rawanda? Or stop the Yugoslav war much earlier?

And when the West acts to stop conflict like in Somalia (read Blackhawk Down) or air-strikes in Libya or comes to the aid of the democratic South Koreans in the 1950's they are criticized for it. Meh.

In the above scenario in my post #29 what good would our metals do us

Food Water Shelter would be paramount

    Ezekiel 7:19
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
    - 1769 Oxford King James Bible 'Authorized Version

Keep in mind Ezekiel was taken by the Lord into the Heavens .... from a modern day UFO perspective we would consider that to be an abduction experience. Was Ezekiel shown a "looking glass" of the Earth's probable future in terms of human events .....

The Iranians have misinterpreted what happened in Iraq as weakness vs. stupidity. As far as the fighting goes, this will be a short war. Think gulf war 1 without the ground troops. There will be some incidents after the initial military barrage, but effectively, the war will be over in days/weeks. The US is going to be real popular with Iranian citizens after we shut down their power grid.
