Does anyone know of this series? I am not aware of them but then there is so much coming out from them my missing something would not be new. Greg McDonald (McDonalds Coin and Banknote ) has said on another board that there is so much coming out from Perth that he will no longer be covering them as from this current issue of Maccas. So unless Renniks picks it up there is no-one recording the numis from Perth mores the pity for numis. So I guess if the experts can't keep up no hope for me. Does anyone here know of the Australian Opal Series? thanks kaz
Here you go guys and girls. Click on link below. First it shows the specs but if you click on the explanatory statement tab, it gives descriptions of the 100 numis up until Mar 2014. Hope this helps everyone out. www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2011L02779 Scorp

The coin includes the inscriptions 'KOALA', '2012', 1oz 999 SILVER' and the initials of the designer Aleysha Howarth 'AH'. Wombat An insert of opal consisting of a wombat on the ground and a representation of native plants, flowers, a gibbous moon, and the Southern Cross The coin includes the inscriptions 'WOMBAT', '2012', 1oz 999 SILVER' and the initials of the designer Aleysha Howarth 'AH'. http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2011L02779/Explanatory Statement/Text and the one I named as a possible continuation of Treasures of Australia is now going onto Treasures of World with garnet, turquoise etc. Umm out of the Treasures of Australia only sapphires did well, I am still trying to get rid of a couple of extra diamonds ones that I have
