    Hi stackers,

Looking for your honest opinions here.

On fleaBay in the UK there are daily auctions for Kooks and often Koalas.
However from time to time there are spates of Kangaroos.

I see from earlier blogs that you folks down under seem to favour the Kooks over the Koalas but where would you place the Kangaroos ?

Is it worth paying a bit extra for them ?

    Thanks for you opinions.

Put it this way. When there are the occasional short term dealer shortage of silver and you can't get your hands on any silver.
You can still buy kangaroos and koalas. Kooks FTW in that trio ;)

I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for Kangaroos in Cards. But it seems like 'a bit' is an understatement for Kangaroo premium now, even for the 2012 issue.

If its the same cost between the 3, kangaroo all the way. Only 20,000-70,000 mintages depending on the year.

Hi, depends on how much you pay, assuming the same price, but if all different then:

    1. Kangaroos (carded) 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)
    2. Kooks - ALL dates seem to have increased nicely over spot.
    3. Koalas - 2007, 2008, 2009 are nice - 2010 is worth getting..

In short none are bad at all, its just the 2011 Koala will have an epic mintage.

I honestly don't give a hoot. Kanga's / Kooka's or Koala's are all on par in my books. They're all premium bullion coins IMHO.

Just my humble opinion. Your millage may vary ;)
