I also have a set, but some years do not have the double seal, but I do not give too much weight to the double seal because the coin is more important.
You never know what you have until you grade the coins. You might just sell a MS70 in capsule only to replace it with a MS67 in double seal, pay premium for that and never find out what had you done.

If you will have them graded by NGC I'd love to see them displayed (with pictures) on the NGC Registry. The registry is a good way to show off your collection and to see what other people have and are collecting.

Congratz Thor! You have accomplished a very rewarding task (pleasure and profit wise).

Congratz! I know how fulfilling (and profitable) completing a Panda set can be :)

Yeah, I'm trying to organize a time get my stuff graded too... I just keep reaching for more and more Pandas and keep telling myself, just a couple more Pandas and then I'll send them all off to NGC...

    Congratz again!

Congrats Thor. A full set of silver pandas is a great accomplishment! I started collecting silver pandas about 8 months ago and have loved learning about the varieties, the commemoratives etc.. There is so much to read, learn and enjoy.

I see that some of the most knowledgeable members of CCF have been posting here. They are invaluable!

    Hi, Thor!

I just wanted to add a message to say congratulations on your complete set also!! It's a very good job you have done in short time, and now it inspires me to try and do the same. I feel it's an important part of our panda education to know all the years well by having them in our collections. That way we know what they are supposed to look like. I have all the years from 2000 (frosted) -2011 and I'm proud of that, but as I said, now you have inspired me to try and get the earlier years!

Yes, I read several places that people are commenting that there are bargains to be had in the bay lately. I should try to have a little look, but I always get sidetracked, because there are so many interesting coins around. I will take a little look around.

By the way, are you going to work on the 5 oz Silver Pandas now? Did you get your 5 oz coin from Yennus? I have the 2009 and the 2011, and they are stunning!! Don't you think?
