Bullion Bourse wasn't always this slow... When I ordered from them earlier in the year my silver would arrive promptly. It may be a reflection of the increase in demand for their products.
Yeah man....I'd insist on a more secure location for the transaction...like a bank lobby or police station. Curious that BB isn't afraid to have strangers over.... Gotta be cautious with the F2F, high value transactions homie.
Guys... Bullion Bourse is a fraternity-style business run by uni students out of a share-home. The reason it's secure is that they have a secret warehouse somewhere and only have the goods at their house when there is an arranged pickup (i.e. take from warehouse the day before)
I got a reply to my last email, apologising and saying my email must have been missed. They've then said that my order should be sent tomorrow and I will receive a tracking number when the order was packed, that was on the 25th of October. I've heard nothing else from them since.
I received my BB order today and am quite happy with their service. Even though I was aware of possible shipment delays prior to ordering, I still remained patient. I will buy from them again no question, unless anyone else in Australia can match their prices?
I have ordered from BB twice without issue and will happily and without hesitation use them again. If you are having issues call them and speak to Tim directly, I'm sure it will be sorted very quickly.
I have not had the need to try this again since i posted. I will if i make more than 2 orders over a weekend or something anyway. To many things to buy around here. I did grab 10 kookaburras before they sold out and it has been shipped today, it would have cleared last night in their bank account. Not to bad.
Still waiting for my 10oz PAMP. Guess they didnt come in this week My scottsdale 1oz and 10oz bars arrived yesterday though....I think I'm in love
Finally got my 1 oz preorder dragons from BB, Perth mint must be still working on finishing up the 300k, I think PM have way too much on there plate.
Have to say I'm in exactly the same situation having placed an order with BB on the 17 Sep for over AU$4k of coins an its now the 18 Nov and still not received any of them this is 2 months later When I buy from a well known dealers website that says 2 weeks+ I do not expect to wait 2 months+ maybe they treat the offshore buyers with some disdain have also expereinced no response to emails and phone calls have to say very frustrating and won't be dealing with them again Whilst I apprecaite there has been huge demand for the Dragons and Perth Mint hold ups 2months is excessive to waiting for a delivery You Aussie guys a lot closer to the action I understand but not a good look for overseas investors
I had an order of 10oz dragons which took 11 working days to get from Perth to Brisbane. Every day past 5 working days, you get a bit more worried that it was lost. Was in constant contact with BB, and their customer service was excellent. They were very helpful, and reassuring. As well as taking all the precautions with Auspost to find out whats happening. Turned out it was just slow. Would recommend BB as well, as long as your patient
I think the issue with slow delivery had more to do with the perth mint delays and not so much Bb They have been great to deal with for me and I too was waiting ages for 2 oz dragons ect ended up swapping to au cause I did not want to wait until feb. that order was in my hand 2 days after I confirmed the change This has been my experience with them anyway
Bullion Bourse are great. They have been lumped with passing on Perth Mint's numerous delays and missed deadlines unfortunately, much to the chagrin of their customers and themselves. They expressed their personal frustration at this situation and there's not a lot they can do other than pass on the bad news.. Tim and Dom are good fellas from what I gather (did a pickup from their Guildford house on Wed), and yeah, more professional accommodations are on the way apparently, although I didn't mind their cute little house and friendly dog They are busy and if you're urgently waiting on an email, give them a call, they seem eager to help.
Is there any coupons for bullion bourse? I would like to order 1-2 coins and would be awesome if I could get cheaper shipping.
If you're in Perth, the pickup coupon is 'PICKUP'. Then they will email you a number to call to arrange a pickup
