It was mentioned on news.com.au that Euro zone would have to "do more" to address their problems before Australia would help, referring to Gillard talking at CHOGM about the Euro zone but other media didn't mention this so I thought it was just rhetoric from the jurno.

These idiots seriously can't think we can provide any money which will be of any real significance (ignoring the fact that its retarded to do so anyway).....

I've got a better chance helping BHP next years earnings forecasts with the hole in my back yard.

No wonder she can not balance the budget.
If the Europeans refuse to print Euros Gillard will print AUD and send it to German ad French banks.

Is someone paying her to damage Australia in every way possible?

It's bad enough that Rudd is throwing money out of a helicopter in the form of increased foreign "aid" in order to try and buy himself a seat on the UN security council, it looks like Gillard is selling the country out for the same purpose - to get the megalomaniac Rudd as far away from her as she can.

What is it with Australian Politicians thinking they are taken seriously by the international community. The amount of money we can afford to give the European Union Monetary needs is equivalent to a grain of sand on the beach.

Did anyone see Krudd with the group of Chinese business people yesterday speaking mandarin and getting all hysterical, what a tool you are.

Right, so tax us more (Flood Levy, Carbon Tax). And now give it away to the IMF so that it can help bail out the EU problems.

Seriously, not sure if this is appropriate but F U Gillard. How many more years until an election. She doesn't seem to be working for Australia.

I think you have to acknowledge that our politicians are just extensions of US & UN foreign policy. From the coalition of the willing, to reporting to the US embassy, to no fly zone Rudd, to CO2 taxation, to pretty much anything they bleat about on the world stage, they are just adding their voice to provide a greater legitimacy to todays policy. If we are going to fund the UN with a CO2 tax, why not capitalize the IMF with a Resource Rent Tax?

Julia and Kevin are in a race to please their foreign backers for the right to lead the country. At least that's how it appears to me.

Ps. The RBA does do currency swaps with the US FED.

You really don't understand how pollie wally's work Love.

Joooles has her nose up the EU's backside because she knows after the next election as the most hated rangur in oz there won't be any oz government posting from tony.

Just look at the bright side we can give Jooles to the European Souffle's and Kev to the take away Chinese. They can both be our secret weapons to destabilise our trade competitors :D

The UN is more prestigious than local government, ultimately will be more lucrative (if it morphs into a world governance system which is what it is evolving towards), just as the EU is now with more benefits. They are all looking to get in and receive it's favours. What does it matter if that means going against the will of your people? It's not like they have much recourse against you...

The only thing that the UN spends money on is weapons and soldiers and Gillard is going to give them a billion dollars a year vampirised from Australian taxpayers via the carbon dioxide tax. Now she wants to hand them even more? She should be in front of a jury.

As long as the mad Katter doesn't offer us "*wine" and then tell us there isn't any!
Otherwise he'd be no better than the juLiar.

    {*wine could be synonymous with any number of tax breaks, reforms, resolutions etc}
