    maybe try asking other UK members for their recommendations of UK based dealers. Ladybird and Photonaware are two members that initially come to mind that may be able to help

    all the fake bars and coins I have seen you can tell they are fakes
    ruff edges
    uneven/broken lines
    know what you are buying google is your friend

    Welcome to our forum - nice to see a new addition from the UK. Keep checking our UK and Europe section as well.

    Be VERY careful buying bars on eBay !!
    Sometimes they are base metal with a plated finish so essentially worth less than the P&P fee. Some sellers are misleading and the fakes might look like the real thing.
    Don't be fooled by certificates - these can also be purchased from time to time and sold with a fake.

    Buy bars from bullion dealers.
    Coins on eBay are fairly safe but not always the cheapest. Check all the main sellers ( lots to be found in the UK section ) and watch for VAT on silver plus shipping costs when doing your maths.
