I would love to see the look on the faces of the grading people if that turned up on the back of a ute How funny would it be if they got the spelling wrong in the mould and no one realised until it was finished
Put a seat on it and you have a unicycle. Rough ride though. Or it would make a very ostentatious coffee table.
Showed the mrs the pic of the coin next to the guy and said to her this is pure gold, how much do you think it weighs. Told her how think it was too. (she has held and looked at a 1kg gold bar before) She looked at the picture and said, wow thats got to be heavy!....um....about 50kg?
It has been killing me having to keep this under wraps. Who owns it - it is the Perth Mint's, so I suppose the WA Governments, however we leased in the metal for the coin, so we didn't buy $53 million worth of gold.
Bron is it on display yet, and I can assume it is part of the mint tour only ? I have been on the tour which was great but not sure I would pay for everyone to go through again just to see this.
Wow this is pretty epic.. I can see someone trying to nick this at some point, 45million bucks in a relatively small 1 tonne package on to the back of a ute is possibly feasible.
Oops I think I got ripped off because if they only made one my one is a fake for sure....oh well lesson learnt don't buy 1tone coins off ebay ;
You feel entitled to a part of it? Our metal is funded by Depository clients but we also lease in, so its not really anyones, just part of the pool we have.
So instead of making 35, 273 minted bars that everyone wants to buy but has been sold out for months, you make one giant monster instead that no-one can buy. I hate you. edit: btw I'm kidding, incase anyone thinks I'm been nasty.
