Is there anyone in politics today who has a greater moral authority anywhere in the world? Contrast against a Barber's concubine as PM, a Lesbian Finance Minister in coalition with an Environmentalist Buggerer.
But don't you get the feeling he's being set up to fail? Even if he won the election, do you think he can do enough to return the country to a state of prosperity and foundation of the principles on which it was founded? I get the distinct impression that Ron might be given a poison chalice if he makes office, simply so the manipulators can point fingers and say 'See, we told you it wouldn't work!' Then again, if he does make office and he makes the changes necessary to save the country, he just might cop a bullet too. The last president that took on the banks went to texas and never came back alive.
no boring bits with Ron Paul... if he gets in watch out were in for a wild ride. If he doesn't get in.... I shudder to think
I just wish he could get his message which is a fantastic one, across without having to appeal to the religion of the masses.
If he didn't continually bang on about the bible and christianity, he'd be perfect. Instead he almost comes off fanatical, even though his ideas of liberty ring true, they come misguided from the cries of religion. This is my only grievance with him. He is still by far the best candidate and maybe America's only chance of hope form the future.
I gave up and turned it off when he started talking about Jesus. It killed Abbot when he wore his religion on his sleeve in public.
What i like about Ron Paul; Basically his speeches and talk go along the lines of...... "This is what i think, this is who i am, this is what needs to be done and this is what i will do." "If i am in line with the people vote for me. if not i wont get elected." He does not talk waffle and crap to just "get votes" Personally i think if he does not get elected the people will eventually get what they deserve. (unfortunatly it will be tough)
