Okay looks like I am out for the NTRs now, spent all my money on other things Unless of course you take credit cards
Can someone please explain the dragon thing to me? Its numismatics right? I mean, I hear comments like the one a ways up in this thread which say that the premiums are only a little more for Dragons, but how can that be, since when I look up the silver Dragons online they're ridiculously expensive. Nowhere near spot. More like 2-3x spot price for a 1oz Dragon, where say, a Kookaburra is like spot + $5. If a person were not into numismatics (like me) then you'd want to stay away from such things, right? I mean, why are they so desired anyway? I just haven't seen what the reasoning is everyone seems to be so hot on these. Thanks
Recon, I still can't explain the dragon hysteria either. I am in the same boat as you: avoiding them. It's for the numismatics guys. At least the 1oz size is. Other sizes seem decently-priced.
1oz dragons have limit of 300k and are therefore sold out already thus premiums. Other size dragons are unlimited mintage and thus can be had for minimal premium, which in most peoples opinion will increase once sept 2012 comes around. IMHO 5 oz and 10oz is where the money is, but 1kg if you expect silver to moon shoot
It's all smoke & mirrors mate - collectors stuff... When the chips are down an Oz of Ag is only worth an Oz of Ag... that's simple maths for a simple soul like me... Numi's a bit like profitable train or airplane spotting... and the market is like a Ponzi scheme which requires new recruits to feed the pyramid from the bottom-up and undergo humiliating and archaic initiation rituals which are never EVER spoken about here... like Freemasonry... VRS x
NTR makes very nice bars, and yet often carry some of the lowest premiums over spot that I ever see. Definitely worth picking those up if you are going for ounces over numismatics.
Thanks so much for the replies guys, bulliondealsau, any update on whether the offer still stands? -A
