Hey guys, I am faily new to silverstackers. I love the site - some wonderful information on here. I have been trying to buy some silver bullion in melbourne but nobody seems to have any stock on hand. I am not to fussed on what stamp is on the bars, as long as they are 999. The only place that seems to have anything in stock is ABC, but their price is way more than everyone else. Could anybody direct me as to where I might be able to purchase ready stock from?
Do you want to go and buy the bullion in person? try: http://www.wdavis.com.au/live-price-list.html Otherwise I suggest buying off people here at silverstackers, can get some great bargains.
The physical shops in Melbourne are either out of silver bars or charge excessive premiums for them. Your best bet is to buy online from one of the sponsors of this site, or from people here. I saw your thread of wanting to buy 20 KG of silver. That's quite a huge amount. On top of my head, I think the 15 x 1 KG swiss pamp bars is a good candidate for you. You can get them from major websites like Bullionmark or Gold Bullion Australia. Other sponsors here might be able to help. HTH.
I think i might go down today pick up 100ounces Ive been looking for a decent place i can come in off the street - the others i know im melb charge outragous premiums. PS I bet you they are not out of stock - they are stocking up and dont want to sell this low
I had nightmares trying to find a bricks-n-mortar store with stock at a decent price last year. So I gave up on it. Best to buy online in my opinion.
Just have to be at the right place at the right time W Davis had over 100kg of silver just before the last big price drop about a month ago When spot dropped 3 or 4 dollars over the weekend, it all got sold on the Monday They can only sell what the public sells to them - and that is totally variable
From me in Queensland - obviously (!) Orders being taken now for immediate delivery - 20kg minimum - delivered to Melbourne $25k neg VRS x
W. Davis should be renamed "no stock, sorry" Just kidding, but it's not far from the truth. I don't think he buys anything new from the Perth Mint, but I could be wrong. It's always second-hand stuff from the public.
