Does anyone know if milky spots on a proof coin would effect on the resell value? Just found out that the Tasmanian Tiger coin I bought from an online store last year has 4-5 spots on the obverse side of the coin. Would this consider as error coin?

Damn it! Should have checked the ugly obverse side too when I received it.

Yes, I think it will affect the resell value. Since this is a proof coin.

I sold a tube of Austria Philharmonic coins, several of them have tiny milky spots, one of them was like that when I bought it from Ebay, but other spots were only appeared after I got it. I put them in the original tube, and my room is very dray. So it is NOT the problem of storage. I think it is the Mint problem. They must spill some chemicals during the production that only shows up over a period of time.

But I did tell the buyer before I mailed them out, and I reduced $15 from original asking price too, he said he was ok with it. But that is BU coin, with only a couple of $ over the spot price.
