Laughs? I almost blew Coca-Cola outta my nose.
My favorite part was when the bimbo says "The dollar is backed by the Fed, so they know it'll be around in a year" LMMFAO I guess she must think as the price of Gold drops the size of the bullion magically grows smaller.
What is Gold backed by? Indeed!

Great post man, laugh did me good!

gold is backed by women. sprinkle some gold (dust) on the ground, and within 2 minutes women will come around, sniffing the air, drawn by some invisible magnetic allure. these women are commonly known as gold diggers, and while they can be fun, they're only after your gold.

She's probably misquoting Todd Hirsch (apparently a Canadian financial analyst). He was probably talking about gold etfs, but who knows.

Y'know, I looked at the video, and yes, it gave me quite a smile. Because, well, to me, it's simple, and I understand many things. And, I know we all do around these parts.

Problem is, if you weren't "involved" so to speak, or had informed yourself by reading articles, understanding, coming here, asking questions, getting answers etc... you probably would NOT know these things and understand them.

I can assure you, there was a time when I did not - I'm not sure I would have gone as far as questioning what Gold was backed by, I think I've always had a basic understanding of PM's, but not necessarily their "entire" place in the world etc. But, there was a time I know I felt "comfortable" with paper money (fiat), and "trusted" it. All I'm saying is - the reported is probably uninformed economically, as a result, ends up delivering typical MSM white noise.

Point is though, many haven't yet woken up - and to the average Joe, yeah, they hear there are problems in the economies around the world, but they don't see the "big picture", they don't understand there are things they can, and should be doing, to protect themselves and their families.

Like deer in the headlights - they're riveted in place instead of getting out of the way. This time, I don't think the 2 tonne hunk of metal behind the headlights is going to stop in time, so this time Joe's gonna end up being a skid mark on the road to the future.

Thanks, I'm glad we still have it. I want to make sure my grandchildren and their children understand how incredibly incompetent people were allowed to report the news.
(I'm hoping that one day, integrity and competency will return to journalism)
Don't hold my breath...right?

Watched this this morning. Here it is on youtube again:

But what the hell is Silver backed by? OMG! Why didn't she tell me about Silver? What am I going to do, argh, I just can't stand the uncertainty of no one officially telling me what I should do!

I wonder if the Mugabe media was running blatant dis-information like that before the Zimbabwe currency collapsed. Good thing everyone relied on the government over there to help them out, eh?

Drink up the fluoride and watch the television and don't think any original or system critical thoughts. See everything is fine.
