    Hi all,

I paid US$149 each for 2 x 1-oz slabbed MS70's in early March 2011. Did the dealer in the US see me coming ????

For MS70 Panda coins I don't regard that as "too much" they are selling for high premiums on eBay.

Don't think so that is about the going rate.
I paid $137 last week just before the dip.
I have been looking at pandas and they don't seem to be getting any cheaper with the drop in spot apart from the 2011.

Thanks, guys - I feel better about the purchase, particularly as the US$ to AUD$ was pretty favourable at the time.

Hello you can get these 2011 Chinese Pandas NGC MS70 with the new "Flag Label" for about $116 USD

You can also get the "Blue Label" NGC MS70 "Early Release" for the same price of $116 or regular label NGC MS70 for $99

hello petercamperdown and thank you for the welcome ...

Here is another recently released NGC label that most here have probably seen but if not here it is ... pretty cool.
This coin has been conserved NCS then graded/encapsulated NGC
On a side note: I have seen people selling these 2011 MS70's for more money and I'm guessing because of the label which means nothing ...

It's still just a $100 to $120 coin at this grade.

I would also like to add that I am not here in this thread or any others to imply that anyone who would have paid more money than prices that I listed overpaid for their coin(s).

After some reading here, I have come to realize that prices for some coins may be slightly higher in Australia due to availability and shipping.

If I inadvertently mention a price at times, it is only to give a baseline of what they are selling in US so that you can then formulate an opinion of what the price may be in Australia as you guys that live there probably have some type of equation of what the fair price should be in Australia

Then again I may be wrong as prices may be identical. I honestly haven't been here long enough to realize price differentials between countries :)

Yeah, Australian prices are 10-20% higher than American prices (not including the differences in exchange rates), due to postage, wire fees, GST, etc.

    WoW, those labels look sweet!
Not much of a slabbed type person but making coins slabbed like that would certainly make me think otherwise.

Here are some of the 2011 NGC MS70's that I have.
I'm missing the new label with the Panda on the label so I may get that one as well just for the hell of it
    [IMG]

I am getting ready to submit to NGC a sheet of 30 2011 silver pandas and I'm checking with NGC on getting them graded/encapsulated in this new panda label which requires a "bulk submission" at this time I don't know how many coins constitute a "bulk submission".

If I can get this done I will offer some NGC 69's and 70's with this new "panda label" to some of the forum members here at my cost which graded will be about $65 USD ($40 coin + $22.50 grading). First I need to see if NGC will allow me to have the label :)

    Thanks a lot. I'd be interested in a 70, since I have a 69 already.

    Hello jwc2011,

Well NGC has temporarily thrown a small obstacle in my way regarding my plans of submitting my coins to get them in the new NGC "Panda Label" as it is only reserved for dealers. I have secured their form to attain dealer status which will take some time, I do not see anything on the requisite form that is much of a hindrance but !!!!

In the meantime I have found a dealer/distributor who will sell me these new 2011 Panda NGC MS69's at $55 each with free shipping :)!!!

I cannot get MS70's at the $65 price (yet) until I start submitting my own personal sheets but for the meantime I can get MS69's for $55 which of course are very, very lovely coins and a steal of a price, although I have a ton of 2011's and don't really need anymore, i bought a handful of these just for the hell of it and because i liked the cool new label with an awesome coin and oh yea and my "ebay bucks got me a few 70's for freeeee !!! ... :)

I don't want to commit to shipping anything to Australia until I get the 2011 NGC MS69 Chinese panda coin shipped out Fedex to Fishball (the free one that was won yaayyy ) on Thursday

Then I will have a better handle on how to ship to Australia and associated costs.

    Thanks !

If the costs are too great to ship individually to everyone, perhaps you can ship them out to yennus and he can distribute them (provided he wants to of course).
