    Having a laugh with a mate about getting in to trouble with the other half for buying pms,
    With the dip she is bubbling cos he went all out on silver.
    Does not matter what he says, he wasted their money in her eyes.
    The best bit is she said "You could have bought me a diamond ring".
    Still giggling some time later.:lol:
    Is this common amongst others here?

    Yep i actively avoided those types before i got married and i'm definately glad that i did.

    My other half doesn't really know or care what i buy, but she is in favour of the purchase anyway. When i tell her that metals have dipped she says to go buy some more.
    I guess i could tell her whatever i want. As long as i don't keep denying her occasional purchases she is fine with it.

    I buy silver kilo bars put them in the oven then use them as tray warmers on the Dinning table,my other half thinks their very practical.
    She loves their thermodynamic properties~go figure

    yea my wife sees it as wasting even after explaining that since i started stacking its doubled/tripled (few months ago the tripled ). The reason she sees it as wasting is cause i dont sell it and buy I donno a new TV or sumething with the profits. She thinks like traders of ETFs; make a quick back by buying/selling.

    I got the exact response. I admit that I did overextended my budget by far over the last week, but I wasn't ready to get the engagement ring yet anyway. :lol:

    However, this also puts a serious dent in my Ducati fund. :/

    Mine is keen on buying too. We thought/talked it over on this last dip and I was the conservative one she said buy 10k we bought 3300 instead. She's a keeper, plus she's got a good job! ;)

    When I go to the coin shop now I'll buy 90 percent $ in bullion and then spend the rest on a .925 bracelet or chain for her. It does wonders! :)

    Great responses, love the panda photo Yennus lol
    Seems to be a common theam girls have on pms "they don't do anything".
    So I suppose I'm lucky, while she dislikes pms it's only because it leaves me short on cash to blow. Her investment is two pink argyle diamonds. They are very nice, good grades and matching colours. But they cost her $15000.
    One day we will see who made the best choice.

    You should take her around and see how little she can sell them for as far as a % of purchase price, then you can say "who's the B#$%@ now?" LOL
