    Hi all,

I was wondering where I could purchase some big, heavy, silver coins that are not your usual coin size?

American eagle or Canadian maple would be nice, but I'd consider anything :)

    Thank you!

I'm not really keen on a 10kg coin :) something up to 1kg would be good, but more than that it becomes ridiculous :)

Oh, and I'd prefer something not Perth Mint made, I find them really ugly. This coin is intended for eye candy!

    Hi Com

1kg coins are approx 32.2oz and are common in Aust in Lunar, Kookaburra and Koala variants.

Most bullion dealers on this forum will sell this size.

    Have fun!

? Have you actually seen a kilo coin from the Perth Mint ?

Anyway, probably best option then is to check out some of the Mexican stuff, Libertads, Calendaria, etc. They make kilo coins in two or three designs. Not necessarily easy to come by over here though.

The kilo PM coins are well made but IMO they should be larger diameter .They are just not really impressive when in your hand.Too small if you ask me

Perth Mint coins are pretty much know for their workman ship and beauty ( maybe not the 2012 Koala) so not sure sure what coins your interested if you don't like PM coins??? :/

Not sure they could be much bigger without becoming a plate...

You must have some small plates at your house :p: .I think about another 25mm in diameter would be much more impressive

Yeah, the high premium killed the idea for me as well. I'd live to see one sometime though.
