I think 2010's are obviously set for a rise.

    I also like 2011's.

2008's (possibly my favourite panda design).

Can't really go past the 2001's at PHWOOAR prices.

They've gone up $12 since Maggie did that group buy and that was only a couple of months back at most.

Pretty huge gains for 2 months.

I agree... I'm stocking up on as many 2010s as I can get my hands on.

The 1/20 oz. gold Panda series is worth considering. Many of them have become very hard to find.

    Best wishes,

So true... almost all the older fractionals are getting harder to find. Earlier this year it was easy to buy fractionals, but now people only want to sell them in sets and not individually.

My vote goes for the 1996 proof pandas. They have the lowest mintage of all the proofs and 96 is a currently unloved year. But they're pricey.

The Panda that currently trades at the lowest premium over spot has highest upside potential.

thehuckler, the best 2 resources I have found for giving advice for what are the best buys are the "Panda Pricepedia", by Peter Anthony - the market rundown and buying advice he gives at the beginning of each issue is even more valuable than the current prices lists in my opinion, thanks Pete. :)

And the Live Business Chat forum. Look for the posts by Badon, in particular his investment guides, which number up to 90 now!!!!! He and new member here tamo42, do an absolutely outstanding job in researching nearly every coin they find available on the market. Each issue has a list of what he thinks are the pick of the coins out there, thanks Badon and tamo - you guys are legends.

Those 3 guys I've mentioned are worth listening to their opinions.

    2002 Panda

At one point they were ignored and now have become one of the hottest rising coins in the Panda series. Value has been increasing in the bay and large coin retailers like Apmex. Unfortunately I only have a few.

    2010 Panda

Again, I only own a few of this year.

    2004 Panda

Nice steady increases with a beautiful design. Looks to be the next "2003" coin. I happen to have 16 of these coins double sealed.

    2009 Panda

Great design, nice mintage and I missed out on getting these. I own only 1 one of these coins.

Slabbed 9's are hot on eBay always double digit bids it seems, which explains why I don't own one yet :(

I gotta go with the 2002, last Feb I picked one up and got it graded (got lucky and it was MS69). I have seen these start to push $200 recently.

I also think 2004, 2005, 2007 if they are in a high grade state (MS69+). I have gotten so many of these in MS66-68, even bagged. I tend to blame the low grades on how mirrored the coins are, making scuffs more noticeable.

I think the 2010 is a Good call especially if you pick up a MS70.

One not yet mentioned is the 1990 sm date. I have seen reasonable prices on them lately, and most ebayers don't seem to know there are 2 1990s.

    my 2 cents :)

2002 IMO are the hottest coins to get. They weren't the most popular due to their design when they first came out (which made the 2003 a masterpiece) but now have been all the rage. APMEX increased the price a few times yet they still sell out. Once my auction finishes I'm going to put money into headhunting (as Yennus would say :D) for these. I'm going to stick to the double bagged ones only.

I also like 2011 but that's if silver crashes and deals can be found.;)
