http://www.ebay.com/itm/330587091615 Does anyone know the real price of this? Is there numismatic value in colored maples? Thanks
its probably the real thing, but its not colored by the RCM, but the maples have some privy mark on them, i dont know very much on this collection...i would not buy it at that price for sure....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Silver_Maple_Leaf#Coloured_Silver_Maple_Leaf Mintage quite low, value is anybody's guess though. Some of Perth Mint's 5000 mintage proof coins are worth barely spot
I still cant find the exact one as in the picture. The only person I see selling is that ebay guy from my link.
thats what i am telling you, those maple did not get colorized by the RCM, they are 2002 maples colored and stamp by someone who is trying to sell you a false privy mark colorized maple...the 2002 maples has around 576k on mintage, the seller colored the maple and stamped it with a privy mark, that has nothing to do with the coin....the value of the coin is what a normal 2002 maple would go for...they are not rare....BUT there is some colored maples (as cited by fishball) those are not the same at all, and are more expensive, google colored maples you will see the real ones, anything that has a litle stamp on the bottum was put there by someone else....hope this helps you....
i have the real ones from RCM and they have box with COA from the RCM gosh this one isn't even in the right size capsule and it's going for US$90+!! what's with germans
