Perfectly normal mate, no need to worry. Almost all of those bars have marks like that, or at least mine do. It does not damage its value :)

There are NO rejects in bars as such
    a 1kg bar is a 1kg bar
if you don't like the look of them ,try 1kg coins :)

"They do not look like the ones on the Perth Mints web site." check out the ad for bigmacs next time on tv and compare the one on telly to the one you get in the drive through .

    Yeah its perfectly normal.

The un-normal thing is to get an absolutley perfect bar.

I had an absolutly flawless 10oz Perth mint bar once.

One that would be used on an ad. Like a supermodel.

It ended up being sold to a lucky buyer, who will cherish it.

It is perfectly normal, you did however remind me of my disapointment when opening my first PM bar expecting a perfectly poured bar of blinding silver :D

That is why people pay %25 over for PAMPS I guess.

Not me though, I'm an investor.

Beauty is only skin deep - Ainslie bars are regularly commented on in the forum, for their, er, "rugged" good looks. But they still are 9995+ silver... which is actually purer than the shiny Perth Mint ones.... ;)
