I had someone in Perth pick some up for me this morning. Gold and silver 1 ounce. There weren't too many people there, so perhaps everyone will get a bite. Gold looks good from the pic i got.
I don't think so. The order confirmation problem now comes after a few seconds already. Same every time I try it.
Read the Perth Mint annual report written by the management and you will see how wonderful job they are doing. These people are much better then politician when comes self-promotion.
Just joined this forum! Amazing to see that there's great live activity going on by local precious metals investors given I'm the only one I know personally who invests into..well anything. Just want to let everyone know that they system won't let you order more than 20 even if you ordered 10 already and hoping to do another order for 20. It simply gives you the message that the maximum is 20 and will only let you put in how much left you can order into your basket. When do you think it will be sold out given the 20 per person limit?
Ok. Relax everyone. The order confirmation problem means that you have reached your limit of either 20 1oz silver or 5 1oz gold coins. That is, your previous online order went through, you just didn't get a confirmation.
This was not the case for me. I had to keep trying and eventually in went through the order confirmation process. Actually, if it takes too long, the message said there was a problem with confirmation, but the ordering process had been reset, and was no longer the final step. I had to start order all over again, and at the final step it still took many refreshes to get the order confirmation through......... Better safe than sorry I would think.
no I dont think so - I have been getting an error message ever since I stared, got as far as confirmation page now and final 'place order' then error message!
After an hour of putting up with the error message I called them and was told just that! Worth noting that the lady told me that the confirmation emails aren't being sent due to a system error. So you will need to phone up and quote your member number and then they can provide you with the order details over the phone.
On the last page you see the 60 seconds ticking. Previously I got all kinds off error messages, but from one point on, I always got this message after a few seconds already: Order Confirmation Problem Sorry, we are unable to complete your order. I'm quite sure that this means that your order went trough previously and that you have reached your limit.
i just received my phone order confirmation thing that i have to fax back.... and it was blank! At least Heidi was nice and friendly.
Just got through on the phone and the problem was - I was trying to order 5 1 oz gold (from 8 .30 am!) and they have been sold out virtually straight away of gold coins so my order just kept refusing to go through. I went back and changed my cart to 20 silver only and after 3 attemptds it has been accepted - 2 hours it has taken! Sorry - not impressed! :/
After dozens of website failures, I eventually got through to PM via the phone. When I said that I wanted to place an order, they said that I had already placed two orders today! The website had accepted a couple of my order attempts without giving me any indication (or telling me what the BPay number was). The PM person said that they would have to cancel one of my orders, because of the 20 coin limit. I still haven't received any confirmation emails, and there is nothing shown in the order history. PM said that they would call me back later today or more likely tomorrow to tell me how to pay. So be aware that some of your orders might have been accepted without your knowledge. Hopefully PM won't fine people for not paying in time, for orders that they didn't even know about.
Now they have a message saying that if you place multiple orders that exceed the coin limit, then they will cancel all of the orders! This does not seem reasonable given that the orders are not always being acknowledged by the website, and that the multiple orders were unintentional for most people.
It's there falt, my cart timed out all the time because they are still letting people put 1oz gold coins into there basket.
