So I got these randomly from Ainslie a few months back & have no idea what their deal is. I don't recognise any of the markings & a quick Google doesn't yield much. Can anyone provide any insight?? Thanks in advance!
I'm sorry, I can't help here. But one thing struck me as slightly unusual, that being the "gms" at the end of the weight. Whilst not technically incorrect (the abbreviation of multiple grams being gms), it seems more usual lately to use "g", as in "1000 g". This makes me think the bars you have may be older than they may appear... could they date back to the late 70's or early 80's? (rhetorical question, I understand you would not know that having just received them)
Yeah I think they are most probably quite a few decades old, which is maybe why I can't find any info... perhaps out of business?
The first one's a harrington. Make that two Harringtons. late 70s Pinkish hue. Loverly want to move them on?
Harrington - it's actually a common question http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-4919-can-anyone-identify-this-brand-of-bullion.html http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-4932-bullion-company-logo.html http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-9594-help-identify-this-bar.html Finally, http://forums.silverstackers.com/message-128330.html#p128330 explains the fate of the company.
