Had a conversation 2 nights ago with a mate saying in the not too long from now we'll be looking back and saying "remember when you could get silver at $80 an ounce?" Pretty much got onto that train of thought when we were talking about going over 100 and to the moon.
I also remember these recent heights however, it came back down promptly too that's when Mr Stella and others wisely pulled out and took some profits. I wouldn't run ahead of our selves just yet maybe when it rockets pass those old highs would I be talking about $100 dizzy heights
I reckon your guess is as good as his. I've noticed that this forum usually goes ballistic when the prices are going higher and silent when it goes south. I understand that we are all pleasantly pleased and sitting smugly hoping & waiting for the big pay day (and that goes for the guys who say they are only buying coins because of their beauty - yea right! ) but when is the best time to sell is a personally call or how long will you hang on to your stack without soiling your pants. I'm personally finding it extremely hard to buy right now and fighting demons in my head which are saying "don't buy, because it's going to come back down a wee bit" but then " the other demons are saying buy you idiot, it's going to the moon" But getting back to your question - Who truly knows??????
I consider myself a long term holder but I don't mind selling some when I think the price has gone up a bit too quick, but then again, who knows. The reason I asked about Stella is because I think he looks at the technicals and we were discouraged from analyzing the technical charts (I have finance background, 100% on the fundamental side) and Stella doesn't seem to in the camp of "they're suppressing prices to keep people away"... And yes, I have those demons fighting in my head too. It's a messy war up there
Have you checked out BrotherJohn vids. I've noticed that he too churns out the videos when it is rising but not so fast when it's falling. I suppose it's human nature? who is jumping around when all hell is breaking loose and not going in your favour or your predictions. He also tends to be one sided which scares me a bit :/ Maybe he is simply a true believer and a better man than I am. I do like his thoughts though... Those blasted demons eh!
I started watching Brother John's videos a few weeks ago, he did say it'll start rising quite a bit, on Friday. But he's just one part of the equation, that's why I like to follow a few people with different opinions. To tha moon....
This Thread was started 20th April... Since then Silver 0% Palladium 0% Platinum 8% Gold 28% Interesting that from about a month ago Silver and Oil have started going in complete opposite directions whereas they had been following each other for years before
Damn those demons. I read somewhere earlier today (when SS was briefly down) that "no-one ever went broke taking a profit". And then, TF reminded us "pigs get slaughtered". Damn those demons.
A deja vu drop would be nice for me. I'd be ready for it this time. I think George Bush said it best: "There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee...that says, fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me...you can't get fooled again."
Don't stress, TF was referring to the futures market. He was saying it is too hot at the moment for leveraged trades either way. Long term he is just as bullish 'I do know that it will be up a month, a year, 10 years from now' etc. etc.
