Buy the drops.......Spread the purchases........that way you wont get it wrong all of the time.

Let the price come to you ;)

If they raise margins on gold next week to try and crash it like they did with silver, I'm hoping silver will go down with it so I can scoop some more for cheap. But maybe everybody will dump gold and pile up into silver...time will tell...

Might be another interesting week ahead.

Technically we had broken the resistance in after-market hours - shorts were fleeing. 44 is straight ahead unless CME wants to break silver down. What happens next I dunno.

Does anyone know if the increased silver margins were relaxed after the fall?

To my knowledge, margins weren't decreased for silver. If they raise again, it'll be hard for them to justify it as keeping the price:margin ratio in tact.

If they were to raise margins on gold, it wouldn't be too surprising because of the price appreciation. We'll have to wait and see.

I think the 48-50 range is going to be a point of resistance and am slowing my purchases as we approach 45. I think that will be a strong selling range for many that purchased in that range just to see the bottom fall out. I'm more willing to wait and see if 48-50 becomes support instead of a double top before making any large purchases.

^ +1 to that. I'm a little surprised silver didn't go lower than it did. Was expecting a larger drop, maybe even sub 30's but it didn't happen. A very difficult market to predict, particularly in the light of gold's sudden rise in popularity (after spending months in the doldrums). Would love to hear some other opinions as well, particularly from the hedgers. Stella? Anyone?

Lol. Luckily I've been adding to my gold reserves, and primarily before all of the bigger upward moves happened.
