    Although not part of the competition the double seal gives it away too. The legit 2011 pandas just come in plastic capsule inside a plastic sheet I believe.

    I weighed the coin it is 31grams. Weighed three times on three different scales. All Showed 31grams.

    I ave cut the coin in half and it appears to be made with only one type of metal. I don't have a silver tester but I'll take a pic now and post it

    Great thanks maybe you could send it to the guys in Melbourne to get it tested someone posted that they do it for free for members think it's one of the coin dealers. Some one will
    Fill in the gaps I'm sure.

    Was there any closure to this thread? Is this confirmed silver? I just bought some 2011 Pandas and they all come in at 31.01 on my scale...

    I don't want to bring out the saw!! :D

    biggest giveaway for me is the texture on the steps on the temple side...compare to a graded one if you don't have an authentic on hand.

    double sealed is only for pre-2006 and some 2006's

    seller probably had less than 100% feedback or very few transactions.

    Once you get a few of these puppies in your hands you will start to pick up on these things quicker and quicker. I like to scan ebay just to test myself.
