"Gold dust is precious, but when it gets in your eyes it obstructs your vision." or so said some old Chinese man.
paypal though, doing a chargeback is pretty easy, i took a gamble on some silver from China once, was fake, put in a chargeback and got my money back no problem. These guys go on the numbers that 9/10 ppl will buy it and not know any better, if they just give a refund on the 1 person in 10 who notices they keep their 100% feedback and further legitimise the scam. Pretty smart way to rip people off really consider they probably paid about 3cents per coin they only need to sell a couple to make profit

I also got an instant repsonse through eBay: Dear Elemental, Hello: Project is 100% true Thank you - yangzhaoxia2009 Click "respond" to reply through Messages, or go to your email to reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Elemental To: yangzhaoxia2009 Subject: 2011 CHINA SILVER PANDA COIN 1 OZ.10 YUAN .999150626106634 Sent Date: 2011-06-30 145453 yangzhaoxia2009 Why would you be selling a real 2011 1 oz panda for less than the spot price of silver. These must be fake - if you can provide evidence that they are not then I will take all you have available. Post a picture of the actual coins you have and put one on a proper digital scale. Don't waste people's time selling at this price and then making us do chargebacks through paypal.
be interesting to see the response to this one, it took me half an hour to get the weight out of him, told him I wanted to make a pendant
The half is hour is how long it took them to find out what the real weight should be. I seriously doubt I'll get a photo - good response to my question though "Project is 100% true" will be my new sig I think.
i got a better one, i'm 'friends' on facebook with this deaf Japanese woman who lived with my exgf for about a year, so last week suddenly out of nowhere, she pops up on the live chatbox thing and asks me how i'm doing. So i start having a very basic conversation with her, asking her how the recovery from the earthquake has been etc etc. Deaf people have a very broken conversational english style anyway so it was just a very light conversation. So then she says to me that the US and Euro governments chipped in and gave $100,000 to every japanese citizen. At first i just thought, hmmm, whatever, then she says, oh and i saw your name on a list, you're going to receive a payment as well. So i immediately started laughing and just went along with it to see what the scam was. So basically looks like some organised japanese scammers have identity thefted her facebook account, changed the password and email addresses and are directly spamming people in live chat. So it got to the point where i was supposed to email [email protected] HAHAHAHA. hilarious. So i said, oh great thanks for the info, then 'defriended' them and reported them to facebook. never encountered such a brazen attempt before. Emails are one thing but live chatting with the friends of people you've identity thefted is pretty next level.
i also sent him a message asking if they were genuine and got the reply: Hello: Project is 100% true, if it is fake, I refund all your money Thank you. so i decided i would purchase 1 knowing it is most likely fake but its only $20 and paypal will refund my money. so i click on buy it now and find out they have blocked me.
the plot thickens, eh what, dear Watson happycrank dont be too disheartened all of us are probably banned too, now i will never get to make my pendant
He also has the 2000 panda for the same price with an ugly fake picture, and 28 sold. Dear Sir I have noticed that most fake chines pandas like yours with actual currency values on them are not sold directly from China. Is that because anyone selling counterfeited currency in China can be executed by firing squad?
