Seeking stacker wisdom. How does a gentleman not get screwed here, particularly with natural diamond? Yes, have been shown all the diamond alternatives but specifically seeking guidance on the real deal.
I bought mine from our old friend, stevo…RIP champion. he was sooo kind to show me differences and wide selections on solitaire…and educated me thoroughly. did I pay premium, yes…but compensated by his knowledge. just a note from stevo….he said don’t buy any diamonds without GIA certificate, especially those privately without long service history…and make sure GIA certificate matches the stone engraving…ultra small engraving but enough for you to spot with 30x loupe. and don’t buy those colour-ed diamonds…almost all are lab-coloured. Stick with the natural D-grade + VVS clarity all these info are from stevo…legendary folk.
I've never considered diamonds to be a good investment. However, a good woman can be the best decision you've ever made. I convinced my better half that we would be better off putting our funds towards a home deposit instead of an expensive ring, and she chose a very modest ring herself.
