Hi there stackers, I have a lonely 1893 Victoria Old Head London half sovereign up for sale today as per the pics below. Looking for $SOLD PENDING including registered airmail postage including tracking. If you do your calcs you will realize this is pretty much spot including postage, this coin contains 0.1177 troy oz of gold. Pics are below - it will come in a capsule - The history with this coin is a little interesting as 1893 was the year that the half sovereign production overlapped between Victoria Jubilee Head and Victoria Old Head, and the Royal Mint (for the most part) alternated production between types and refinery sites. So although we know the total number of half sovs minted in London 1893, it is unsure as to the split between how many Jubliee/Old Head were minted. As always, I ensure every single coin is securely and discreetly wrapped and labelled not to attract any unwanted attention from customs (my record is 100% on this point as I take painstaking care to specially wrap each coin).
