A warm hello to everyone on these forums as this is my first post I've been thinking about getting into PM trading lately and was wondering where the people here actually keep theirs. Who goes for storage facilities - or do you just keep a safe at home? One thing I've always wondered about safes... if someone were to break in, wouldn't a safe be an obvious target for theft? Sorry if that's a n00b question, but I'm still learning. Cheers! Will
I know someone with a sizeable stack of gold and numismatics who keeps them in a gun safe at home that is properly bolted to the floor. You can get the safes off eBay Other people lease safety deposit boxes which can be quite cheap to hire. Enough to give you a few years of storage to become equal the cost of buying a safe outright. There are also 'creative' ways to store them such as ballast in your boat (That 'boating accident' everyone talks about might become more plausible in this scenario..)
Yes, but when the seeds of my investments finally come into fruition, everyone will be able to see it and help themselves That's pretty useful advice, thanks.
My research tells me the book could be "Chronicles of the 20th Century". If so, the 1392 pages makes a nice thick book to hide PM in. I store my metals in a very safe location which is ...............<internet failure>.
In the ground in tiny little bits surrounded by heaps of dirt. BAD idea cause then this company Valencia Ventures sticks a bloody mine right where I had my stack! Oh well its only money
