Hey guys, I've just come across 7x100 and 9x50 Fraser Cole notes. All the 50 serials start in Y and all the 100s with Z. I'm asking $1400 delivered.
Thanks Spanner, fair point. I'm not a note collector at all. I literally stumbled on these. I figured they're cool even if imperfect. They came out of a ball of wool where they had been rolled up for probably 30 years, I didn't even try to flatten them out before posting them. Rather than banking them I think I'll keep them and use them to pay for things. Just looking through them now, I notice there is one in the stack that has smudged ink on the middle 0 in the 100 on the Tedbutt side.
not sure if anyone will accept these paper ones now, except banks…as there are lots of counterfeits which made govt to make our new poly ones….but I could be wrong…
"All Australian banknotes that have previously been issued into circulation by the Reserve Bank remain legal tender and can continue to be used. All previous issues of Australian banknotes retain their legal tender status. However, it is a long time since some of these banknotes were issued into circulation in Australia and some retailers or members of the public may be reluctant to accept them. People may be unfamiliar with the designs and may suspect the banknotes to be counterfeit." People can refuse them. https://banknotes.rba.gov.au/australias-banknotes/redeeming-old-banknotes/ But can send to Joe Laundry..
