I don't disagree with you at all on this. I haven't bought new in a long time, just some of the pre-2009 bears.

    2001 or 2002?

    What's your alternative?

Its a 2002. My alternatives is get refund. return and get the 2004 1/2 oz, 2001 1/20 oz and cash, keep it, keep in omp, keep and send to grade and live with a 67 coin and last try to sell it for a few extra bucks.

@tater, most of the Panda guys have dropped off the radar here. You could try contacting Peter Anthony who used to frequent this forum at pandacollector.com. The MCC forum based in the States I used to frequent seems non-existent now unfortunately.

Yeah I can't get enough of my libertads. The mintages are so low and the design is very good.

Ive picked a several tubes of 2023 Britania's.
Its the only year that we will see a Quen & a King on seperaye Coin's in the same year , well at least in our and our kids lifetimes.
Should make them a bit special in years to come.
    Look great also.
    Just My 2 Cents.

That's what I was thinking. No real value in the mintage but if they are hoarded enough it could be an interesting development over time.

The 2023 QEII Brits are a "limited mintage" according to the Royal Mint, but they haven't disclosed how many there are, KCIII will be unlimited mintage

Online marketing for panda officially from mint, coins dealers and individual been die down.

many china coins sell buy offline. The tension between usa and china has leading to higher tax on china coins which affect a bit of coin availability in usa. Price need add taxes and so on.

number of usa dealers been old and pass away. Some has hit hard by covic and no business to close down.

Peter in Dec 22 with me in Singapore.

he is Pcgs Asia consultant now.
