Hi guys, I'm looking to buy some Air-Tites Direct Fit capsules for 1/10oz gold coins (so I can put them in tubes for ease of storage) and trying to make sure I buy the correct size before ordering. Has anyone previously purchased these for the following coins and did the A16 size fit most of these well? (https://air-tites.com/collections/direct-fit-air-tite-coin-holders/products/direct-fit-air-tite-a16). Series 3 Lunar (16.6mm) Kookaburra (16.6mm) Britannia (16.5mm) Kangaroo (16.6mm) Series 2 Lunar (18.6mm)- A6 is too small, perhaps the A18 or A19 size would work? Thanks
@SilverJJ The Spec.. are there, All you need to check each of them. Diameter & Thickness https://air-tites.com/pages/airtite-specification-charts There are Tube that can still Fit/ Hold the Original capsules.
The diameter on the website is not accurate. For example, A16 is apparently 16mm but they say they will fit 16.5mm American Gold Eagles. I've heard 16.6mm won't fit, but want to see if anyone's tried as an extra 1/10th of a mm is pretty small.
Model Metric Inside Diameter A-16 16.500 A-18 17.900 I do believe the measurement is quite correct. Especially when it come Specification, then some Tolerance. Of course 16.6mm coin won't fit , when it is * Direct Fit. ( Close to Snug Tight ) * If they are recommended for specific coins only.
