margin hike?

aren't we looking for a margin hike tomorrow (tues)? Will that drive the price back down a little?

 

Yes but how long till it happens? The NY market has already opened. Anyone know?

Once again C???x is looking after a massive short position by ( we all know who..!! ) .. ( and for what reason )
I can`t believe this is being allowed to play out the way it is , especially when the events of 1980 are still fresh in peoples minds .
There are a few very detailed reports easily accessable about what the Comex did to the Hunt brothers , its all public record and quite staggering , when you look at whats happening now .

 

honestly increasing margins is a good thing, too much leverage creates bubbles.

 

What about all the leverage in the short positions?

 

EXACTLY! It's ok to sell massive short positions which CAN NOT be backed but increasing margins on longs is?

I still can't understand why margins are fixed rate and not a percentage of the spot?

They should be % like they do in the stock markets but CRIMEX are evil

Having said that I believe in a semi-strong form market efficiency and that the market has priced in this margin hike already :]

Hmm is it safe to say we probably wont be seeing $20 or $30 silver? I mean wouldn't anyone who was going to sell, sell off last week due to the whole panic mode everyone was in.

Im still not convinced, I dont think the comex would be happy with Silver nudging on $40 so soon.

My sentiments as well, if there is manipulation then surely we will see the price dropped again shortly with the rapid rise of Silver.

It really is quite amazing what it is doing.....
