Greetings. I'm painfully close to completing my 2oz BU kook collection. Can anyone help me with: 1997 1999 2003 In my quest so far I have captured many an unusal kookaburra, in privy, proof, 1oz and 2oz variety, so I will gladly trade one of my many doubles if you're also a kook-tragic looking for missing years. I include most recent family photo for your enjoyment. IF THIS POST IS STILL HERE, EVEN IF ITS FROM YEARS AGO, AND HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED TO SAY I HAVE CAUGHT THESE RARE BIRDS, THEN YES, I AM STILL LOOKING FOR THESE FEKKING KOOKS PLEASE PM ME FOR GODSAKE!
This probably won't help but I do have a 2oz 1996 proof which has the 1997 image on it perhaps it will help to fill the void until you find the real thing?
UPDATE: 1 of 3 missing kooks located and soon to be re-united with long lost family members in the deep dark kooka nest in my basement (thanks to a member of this forum!)! You need a paid membership to edit. Otherwise, great to see you’ve located 2 of the 3 you’ve been searching for, hopefully from members here.
Thanks @barneyrubble seems an odd rule since editing my post would be for the benefit of all SS users (saves time not clicking on it once sold/found). I got one from Weighton Coins in the UK, and one from this group. There is a 2003 on eBay for $200 but that's just being silly. I got $120 for this bad boy or swaps... come on Stackers, help a brother out!
