Hi all, This may be an open ended questions, but I'll ask anyway as I'm finding it hard to get an answer so any input would be appreciated. I'm looking to set up a stock screener and set parameters I want a screener that is free at the moment with the ability to subscribe later for additional alerts and features. I'm looking at user friendly platform like tradingview, finviz or Yahoo finance. I'm also looking so see what people use as set parameters to screen. Thanks
Simplywallstreet have some criteria that you may find useful to add, I don't have a stock screener but I look at the commodity and company share price trend as one of my signals. Maybe watching youtube videos like Samso Media may be helpful, he asks CEOs questions about their projects, you may be able to set something up by looking at the types of questions he asks. If you do get around to building something I'd be interested to see it.
I use marketinout. Some features are free, but mostly it is a paid subscription, and you can put whatever parameters you dream up into it.
Thanks Silver Soul. Looks comprehensive with a paid subscription but looking for a free version or trial at the moment before committing. Thanks shiney, definitely more use friendly than others I've been looking at and visually better too. Do you think the screener options is a bit restrictive compared to others?
I'm not experienced enough to comment. I only use that site/app to get info about the board/management, debt levels if any and any insider buying/selling statistics.
Hi Stewy, just noticed your post. I used Incredible Charts for a number of years. They had a basic Stock Screener, which was pretty handy. You could add your own parameters. Have not used them for a while, as I find Trading View Heat Map and a few other tools they have are good enough for me.
