    Picked up my first King George IV, 1821 London Mint, first year of issue for the KGIV Laureate Head Obverse.

    What a fantastic coin, in decent condition with some wear on the high points, but mostly all the details are still there. I’ve seen plenty of younger sovs in worse condition than this one that’s for sure.

    And to think they were minting these coins in pretty much the same detail and quality more than 200 years ago is even more amazing.

    Lizzy was alright when she was a young lizard hatchling, I also quite like young QV
