    Hi all,

Finally found my log in after a long hiatus from the 2011 days...

Are lunar 2s in big demand anymore? Just curious what the market is like after so long, is there some approx range listed around?

I saw the recent mouse and horse rolls sales, what about others like dogs, tigers and dragons?

Welcome back. The world has moved on since 2011....silver just didn't get the memo and is now finally waking up. It feels like the Pink Floyd song..."And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun"

Mid $40's for most of them if you're patient and if you're selling for under $42 you probably gave some away. Ox and Tiger seem to be the best ones. See below groups where I think they command similar premiums (with Tiger and Ox at the top tier where I think a $60ish ask is a fair starting point but you could probably go even higher for the right buyer. Have not put in order within the groups). Happy for others' thoughts on below I just whipped it up off the top of my head I don't extensively check outside SS trading section. Last time I posted my estimates I was rubbished but sure as shit people were not selling for as high as posters here would like to believe (e.g. that constantly rolling infomercial on lunar mice rolls when he was initially told he could get $1300+ for them).

    Snake
    Monkey
    Rooster
    Dog
    Goat
    Pig

Dragon (creeping up from the bottom tier - we may get to break even on these soon. But I was done with the 1oz a while back, the larger coins seem to have bounced back already)
    Mouse

    Horse
    Rabbit

    Ox
    Tiger

Thanks @heartastack - is your ranking from the bottom (eg snake?)

Mid 40s might be the ball park excluding eBay fees... there was an auction for 2 mice rolls at $900 each which sounds about right

I have recently sold rolls of Series 2 Tigers for around $1100, they seem to be the toughest. Bricks and Mortar shops are in the mid $50's on most lunars.
Lunars are something that you dont seem to see here on the forums, unless your pumping Mice 5 times a day. Probably Ox are my favourite

Another thing to consider the pricing when selling singles compared to selling rolls or even boxes

I reckon the nicest design out of the whole series is the Horse, Snake has gotta be one of the worst but even though Tiger demands a premium, it's one of the more "ho hum" designs in the series.
    Sorry, off topic

I think it's great to hear and share these thoughts. Personally I think the tiger is one of the nicest coins out there so there ya go!

Each to their own, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
Can we agree that the snake is probably the least attractive design?

hahaha I love the snake too... Goat, dog, monkey are too generic for me.

    Agree with all of those...
Horse, Rooster, Mouse, Rabbit, (hate to say it but Dragon) are the better ones
