FS: Australian florins, shillings and US dimes at spot

    FS are three partially complete sets of silver coins...

    Shilling set with
    15 x pre-1946 Australian shillings
    17 x post-1946 Australian shillings

    Florin set with
    10 x pre-1946 Australian florins
    18 x post-1946 Australian florins

    Dime set with
    28 x pre-1965 US dimes

    Silver spot value = $437

    Plus $13 postage gives $450

    Selling anything at spot value is going to get a quick sale, even when prices are spiking.

    Back in 2006/07 when I started buying these types of collections off eBay I could get them under spot.

    Unless they are in top condition they don't go for much above bullion value unless they are a hard to get year. But that means taking time to look at all the pictures and dates etc. which takes time and effort that a lot of people can't be bothered to do.

    I value all my coins like these at their spot value, and I have a lot of them.
