I'm starting to lean the newer aspects. such as I gather "buzz" means "I'll buy it". I'm wondering if there is a help page to tell me things like how to edit posts/threads after they are posted. I can't find where, yet I can see others can change the tread titles. (in this forum I can edit this post and title, but not in the trading post forum, is there some status I need or the like?)
Hey, welcome to the forum. Yes you'll need to upgrade to a "Silver Stacker" status to be able to edit for an unlimited time. Unpaid members can edit posts for 60 mins I believe. https://www.silverstackers.com/foru...new-silver-stackers-membership-process.84048/
Yes, as @jultorsk has stated you need to pay a small fee to upgrade your membership to 'Silver Stacker' to get unlimited editing rights of your threads and posts. Otherwise, you are only able to edit your posts for a short period from the time of posting. And Buzz means you agree to buy the item advertised at the price and condition stated, (a sort of an informal gentlemen's agreement). And welcome to the forum too, @SEQ.
Thanks, I thought that may have been the case, just looked it's US$30, might be good... does "silver stacker" give any other benefits?
There's a room where everyone gossiping in there. In between the thin wall , thinking No one can hear it....
Welcome. Basically it's a token payment in support of the forum. There is a General Discussion sub-forum only available to members which may have threads that are of interest to you and there's a Trading Floor which is used infrequently, especially for large volume sales or trades that members wish to keep more private. Be aware that the forum owner is an infrequent visitor to this site at the moment and that there may be a delay to any request to upgrade your account. A suggested course of action you could work on which would have the greatest impact upon the value you derive from here while awaiting a membership upgrade if you choose to go down that path is to establish a Trading History in order to enhance your reputation.
Thanks, I've been trying to buld rep in sales (I have a few listed items) and purchase (most good deals have been getting sold before I see them). I'll persevere and maybe change my approach a little.
