Guide to buying gold?

Gday everyone.

Im just wondering if there’s a thread to read about buying gold? I’m a newcomer to the PM scene and I found the article written by GoldenPelican “Guide to buying silver”, really informative and useful.

If there isn’t one, would anyone who has the time mind sharing with me their thoughts on purchasing gold. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’m having the same issue with most of the links not working. It’s a bummer because it’s a great post.

 

I think these links got lost when we went over to the new system, so I expect there is a way of getting them back?
