widely seen as the next huge growth area what stocks or efts can i buy on the asx or do i need to look further afield? some that i have been recommended pen, pdn, dyl and bmn.
The 2 main ETFs are URA and URNM but they are on the US stock exchange. I got a small allocation in both.
Yes a lot of my uranium watchlist is up 300 - 400% in 12 months. Must be due time for the punters to come out and start talking their books.
if we had a government with some guts, they would be building power stations and using this stuff instead of this solar and wind crap.
who are building nuclear reactors again for power generations? https://www.statista.com/statistics/513671/number-of-under-construction-nuclear-reactors-worldwide/
If it wasn't for the US working out early on in the peace that you get better weapons grade plutonium from uranium, nuclear power may have kicked off using Thorium instead (which ain't great to make big kabooms) with...and from what I read a much safer way to generate nuclear power...less chance of those messy meltdowns. There's a some rare earth miners in Aust who produce Thorium and various countries (not including Aust) are looking at this alternative source. Worth a look see from both commercial, enviro and investment potential.
BWXT:NYSE looks interesting. And on thorium Copenhagen Atomics is having a public investment round this year.
This is a metal you shouldn't stack at home unless you have a lead-lined safe in the basement. https://sprott.com/investment-strategies/physical-commodity-funds/uranium/
