What is fair markup on ASE, Koala and Kook 1oz coins at $33AUD spot. Is an $11 premium ($44) fair markup? Obviously the more you buy from dealers the lower the markup. What do people think is fair markup?

A fair markup, is the highest markup at which the coins will ACTUALLY sell.

It also depends on what else is available at the time ( 80 % ) and the perception of where the SPOT is headed short term ( 20 % )

so if your ase, koala, kook 1 oz coins cost $44 and 10 oz bars cost $380 and 1kg bars cost $1250, than
i dont think that the 1 oz coins will sell at $44.

    imo

Silver dealers aren't exactly awash with product at the moment. Unfortunately it's not what's "fair", it's what the market will bear.

So if you're shopping around and seeing $11 premiums, that's the market speaking. Dealers need turnover, very few can afford to just sit on the sidelines and wait out dips.

ABC Bullion are selling Koalas at $41 which represents an $8 markup. That appears to be the cheapest way to buy single ounces and all being equal, that's where I'm going next.

I am waiting on BB to reflect the new spot price in their retail prices this morning, they seem to be cheapest of all the dealers to grab coins from.

Yep. I've been keeping an eye on their price changes all week.
