Hi all, I have for sale my recently found slug of Gold it weighs in at 120 grams, I have cleaned this up to the best of my ability, I can see no inclusions, It came from the Kalgoorlie area, I took it into a gold buyer, he checked the purity and told me it was 95%. I am asking for best offers over $11,000 for it, postage and Insurance at buyers expense. Please keep in mind I have this for sale else where. If you check out the web site “goldnuggets.com.au” you will see Nuggets over 100 grams and the asking price is spot + 40% I’m asking no where near that, and I know what some one asks and what some one gets can be two different things. I hope I have this in the right area, if not could some one please explain where I should have this posted. If some one can tell me how to delete old media I will post 2 new images. Cheers
Hi, I think I have to delete old images before I can post new images and I don’t know how to do that any help would be very much appreciated.
I’m sorry guys,I can’t post pictures, I have sent them to silver soul he said he would post them for me. They are jpg I tried file size of 560kb
Hi Silver Soul, thanks very much for posting the pictures of my nugget I appreciate it so much. Cheers
Congratulations on finding one that big @Justlooking, some prospectors never find anything that big in a lifetime of searching. Your best bet might be to find someone local in WA to purchase it, as there is risk in sending one that big it via post for both parties. Having sold quite a few nuggets over the years I can say the photographed nugget is better looking than the majority that I have seen of that size range and represent fair value for money at the asking price. So any sandgropers with deep pockets what are you waiting for?
Hi hardyakkagold, you are probably right re your postage remark, but I live in Tasmania, so it will be postage just about anywhere, we'd have to pass the hat around to raise that much money here in Tassie for this purchase. Cheers mate.
In that case yes selling through post might be your best option if residing in Tasmania. By the way, I hope you don't mind me asking you this and you don't have to answer if you don't want to, but did you by any chance find this nugget in the Kurnalpi area northeast of Kalgoorlie? The reason I ask is that I found similar looking (smaller) gold there back in the 1990s when I was young and adventurous
Hi hardyakkagold, without giving to much away, let me just say it wasn’t very far away from Kurnalpi, I have prospected there before. Thanks so much for your interest and comments.
Thanks Silver Soul, I did like the picture of my nugget in my hand better than the other. Thanks once again for posting for me.
Hi, I did mention that I found it in W.A. although a mate did find a 52 grammar down here In Tassie but to rugged a country for an old fella like me.
Hey Wellsy, I did say I might be surprised, you are more than welcome to check it out if you are seriously interested.
