Good to see you Captain, they need to be pointed in the right direction.
Steer them clear of the mermaids calling, as they will lure them away from our cause.
They will be lost forever to the sound of the siren singing
I think Parrot has joined them.

    JPM'S GOT NO TALENT

    Hi Maggie,

Glad to be back. Sorry for the delay in getting topside, I've just been enjoying a plate of chef's "Poussin Platter". Quite delicious. I'm going to keep the drumsticks as mementos to his talents.

Well, I must say that I am rather disappointed with our current position. Frankly, I had always viewed Blythe as a worthy opponent - misguided perhaps, but at least someone who could manipulate the silver and gold price with a certain style, even with (dare I say it?) flair.

But this! THIS! A six dollar smack down in eleven minutes! How gross! How poorly done. A vertical line! How minimalist! How DEVOID of artistry! What a paucity of price suppression savoir faire! To think that we stackers, who have given up lucrative careers and the comfort of loved ones to pursue our evil nemesis across boundless oceans should be rewarded with something as crude and as tasteless as this! For shame!

I've decided to send Blythe an official complaint:

I hope that does the trick.

I will have Parrot deliver this memo to the mail room immediately.

Hopefully Blythe will read it and mends her ways - or we will just have to find ourselves a new opponent.

Meanwhile I can only reiterate my advice to everyone to continue buying with both hands - not because of this little price drop - but because even at $USD 80 per ounce silver is incredibly CHEAP!

This blatant act of desperation is a good indicator that prices will soon be much much higher.

The only question we ever need to ask ourselves is "Will this stimulate or slow down physical silver sales?"

(And what's on the dinner menu tonight?)

    Now, where's Parrot...

Maggie . Go down to the boiler room and tell them to be prepared for the order Full speed ahead sometime tonight.

Earlier in the day I was walking the deck muttering to myself "We'll all be doomed I"ll tell ya, doomned we will". Whils't walking the deck I ran into Hanrahan who keep telling me " we'll all be ruined if we hit an iceberg"

Then I ran into an old aussie stacker who kept telling me "She'll be right mate"

I've been frightened to look out the port hole all day but latest reports indicate we might make it if we all pull together.

Don't report for duty until mid/night.

    Regards Errol43

    Umm,

Error43, could you just check the ship's equipment, such as the compass, and the binacle and the supply of err, planks.

And Maggie, could you pop down to Southern Cross's cabin and mention that I would like a brief chat with him when he has a spare moment?

The trading has really died away in the past hour or so. Thin volumes even compared to earlier today.

You have good eyesight rbaggio - but take this spyglass now and look out yonder - I'm certain there's something dark bobbing up and down in the swell just toward the coast over there. Can anyone spy it?

The sea breeze feels nice tonight. Nothing like a sudden dip to clear the air.

    Evening Crew,

I've been reviewing last week's log:

Good lookout work from Adze67, Blockhead, Unfunkable, Arsenal, reflection, Projack and Fishball

    A big welcome to BIGGRIN.

Good estimating Errol 43. You should work for a builder I know.

Sorry about all the noise Dross.

And ten points to JPMuppets for pulling silver down on Friday while gold was going up strongly. If this sort of thing continues the Gold/Silver ratio will wind UP again, and we can look forward to ANOTHER great rise in Silver when it eventually runs back after gold again. Neat!

    Now, for this week's action:

We have a little distance to make up now. JPMuppets spent $500,000,000 dollars to move silver down six dollars ten hours ago. Since then the price has recovered to about half of that loss. That's a loss to them of around 25 million dollars per hour for our entertainment. We must remember to send them all tickets to the SS Night Crew Ship Ball coming up in June.

Maggie I'll speak to Southern Cross later. I might have a word with Chef too. Make sure that Union Jack Bunting is gone before we set off tonight.

OK, crew hoist in the main anchor and put the ship's bow to the wind.

    Prepare to hoist the mainsail.

Errol43 - Don't forget to unclip the main halyard from boom end and clip it to the mainsail head, and release the mainsheet and boomvang tension before hoisting and uncleating the mailsail with the halyard line.

Bunker can you take a life boat out and a couple of men and try to recover that corpse that's just floating around out there?
