Before I paid to a shit guy in here , MR cook , he never ship items to me
    I lost 860$, I can’t do anything

today my friend got chargeback from PayPal. His buyer directly paid by PayPal gift. No fees , why different? Still can chargeback?

I guess maybe funds from card or from PayPal balance right ?

Hey mate, not getting this PP gift, still being charged-back?! I thought PayPal gift is non-reversible?! Unless buyer complained to CC for unauthorised charge...

if the person uses a credit card to fund their paypal, they can contact the credit card company directly and claim fraud, and reverse the charge.

This is in the terms, however papal has no say

How to fund CC to PP gift? I thought you could only do this if bank account is linked to PP?

Since this payment was sent as a personal payment you are not covered under Seller Protection to have the funds released while the case is being handled. We will however send all of the information you have supplied to the card company to prove you deserve the funds. Please note this process can take up to 90 days for us to get a response.
You are covered under Seller protection for item not received and unauthorized purchases only when the item is delivered to the address on the payment and is received as a goods and service payment.

seems like person payment is not safe for seller. Cos no protection

Yikes, you should consider not accepting credit card at all

If shonky buyers are doing charge backs, nothing stopping them from starting charge backs via paypal as a service or via other means like square.

If you need to accept CC you should consider increasing margin on your sales to self insure to cover losses or accept direct debit only with unknown buyers.
