Tesla Invests $1.5B in Bitcoin, Plans to Accept Crypto Payments https://www.coindesk.com/tesla-invests-1-5b-in-bitcoin-plans-to-accept-crypto-payments
musk is surely hoarding silver for his solar panel company along with battery raw materials and semiconductors for his EV company. look at platinum price, the way it is going up is like something bad is about to happen, looks like people are hoarding and preparing for something big
If Musk want's electric cars to succeed he better start investing in nuclear power. It seems the Chinese are the only ones that understands this.
It interesting to watch how the crypto markets react to anything Elon says or does. Imagine if he issued his own crypto currency...the "MUSK"......for whatever reason....demand would be HUGE just cos it's Musk.
I'm going to put my tinfoil hat on... just for a minute. Elon ... he's got a lot of faithful followers who'll follow his lead. I wonder if there's any motive other than investing behind his move? Price plateaus, Elon jumps in with a lazy 1.5B Will it cause a buying frenzy? Was their any basis to the claims Elon owned Bitcoin? From Wikki Sahil Gupta, former SpaceX employee, published a blog that Nakamoto may be Elon Musk. In a tweet dated 28 November 2017, Elon Musk denied he was Nakamoto. Surely not ... ok I'll remove my tinfoil hat now
Great .... another boat I'm going to miss, last time I looked at digital coins I was stumped at the digital wallet part. I bet it goes crazy too.
Source? I can't find it. Edit to add: somebody else might have to ask @Bullion Baron that question. I'm pretty sure I'm on his ignore list.
This is all I see mentioned in the annual report: https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archive....htm#ITEM_5_MARKET_FOR_REGISTRANTS_COMMON_EQU No mention of any of those other asset classes, I lifted that from the last paragraph of page 33. I'm calling BS on the bit about Tesla opening the doors to gold.
Bloomberg article: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...1n1XtZ_ofT98FUFGOA0kAPByFDjcH-xQn_GKrtzSTEI_o Makes mention of Gold bullion and ETF, though nothing stating they have bought any, just that the policy is going to permit it
